Overview
Children thrive in safe, supportive, and nurturing families and communities. Yet many children in the Greater Kansas City area experience dangerous and damaging childhoods.
Partnership for Children envisions a society in which all children avoid risky behaviors and are safe in their homes and communities from all forms of abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence.
By working to promote policies that strengthen families, we can help ensure that all children grow up in safe, nurturing, and permanent environments.

- Foster/Adoptive Parent Recruitment
- Support legislation that creates a fund to disperse funds directed towards programs that recruit and retain foster/adoptive parents for hard-to-place children.
- Protect Critical Funding for:
- Foster care reimbursement rates and adoption subsidies.
- Child abuse prevention programs.
